President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi followed up the executive position of a number of facilities in the new administrative capital, especially with regard to engineering designs and various artworks in the House of the Noble Qur’an, the collections hall and event halls in the Mosque of Egypt, as well as the engineering studies of the international horse city "Murabit".
Today, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met with Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, advisor to the President of the Republic for urban planning, Major General A.H. Ihab El-Far, head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General Ashraf El-Araby, head of the Consulting Office of the Engineering Authority, Brigadier Abdel Aziz El-Feki, assistant head of the Engineering Authority for Road Designs, and Dr. Tariq Al-Khudairi, director of the "Ibdaa" factory for marble and artwork, and Engineer Mohamed Talaat, the consultant for the Egypt Mosque project.
Ambassador Bassam Rady, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that the meeting dealt with "following up the executive position of the projects of the Engineering Authority at the level of the Republic."
The President was also briefed on the executive position of the road sector projects and new axes in Greater Cairo, especially the development of the 26th of July Corridor in Giza Governorate, as well as the main axes in eastern Cairo and linking them to the Ring Road, including the optimal use of lands located on both sides of those axes and roads and the establishment of integrated services there. Where the President directed to carry out the greatest degree of engineering expansion within the framework of the plan to develop vital axes and roads at the level of the Republic, with the aim of achieving the greatest amount of traffic flow, taking into account the highest standards of security and safety, as well as relying on the finest designs for facilities on both sides of the axes and providing them with all services.
